Principal's Message

Dear Riley Elementary Staff and School Community,

My name is Jennie Salazar, and I am honored and excited to introduce myself as the new principal of Riley Elementary School. I am eager to begin this journey with you and look forward to a productive and engaging school year ahead.

I have enjoyed serving our district for the past 23 years, working at all three educational levels—elementary, middle, and high school. Most recently, I was the assistant principal at Poly High School, where I worked with an incredible team of educators, students, and parents. Each experience has enriched my understanding of our students' diverse needs and strengths and prepared me for this new role at Riley Elementary.

As I step into this position, my primary goal is to foster a nurturing, inclusive, and academically challenging environment where every student can thrive. I am committed to building strong, collaborative relationships with teachers, staff, parents, and the wider community to support the growth and success of our students.

I firmly believe that education is a partnership between the school and home, and I value your input and engagement. Together, we can create a positive and enriching experience for our children. I am excited to meet each of you, to listen to your ideas, and to work together to continue the tradition of excellence at Riley Elementary.
